Protection Light On Amp
Now it works fine at low volumes but when you turn it up it shuts off for about 5 seconds and the protection light comes on.

I have moved the ground around n it will come back on again but after awhile the protection light comes on again. Generally the power light is green or blue and the protect light is red but on some amps the protect light is green and the power light is red. If your amp has a protect light and it s on then chances are good that you have a faulty speaker subwoofer cable or another component. The protection light on my 640a is flashing 4 times over and over.
